at 2007 ICA Congress in Dubai

March 12th, 2007
The International Colored Gemstone Association is proud to announce that Tzoffeys 1818, the international auction house specializing in unique diamonds, rare gemstones and one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces, will hold its 19th international auction on May 9, 2007, during the upcoming ICA Congress in Dubai. Called the Dubai Magnificent Jewels Auction, over $10 million in gemstones, diamonds and jewelry will be available for bidding.
"Dubai is the most exciting place to conduct our next auction," says Tzoffeys president and CEO Avner Sofiov. We have chosen the most important gems and diamonds for this rising venue we were challenged to locate the most suitable items that would not be shaded by this oasis of fortune and richness.
Tzoffey's 1818, with its slogan Action at Auction, has long been an international brand in the auction world, primarily targeting the diamond community, high-end jewelry producers and gem and diamond collectors worldwide.
The 12th Biennial ICA Congress will take place in Dubai from May 5-9, 2007 and will include an exceptional list of notable speakers from around the world, vast networking opportunities and a wide variety of social events. Auction items will be available for viewing throughout the week at the Congress venue, the Al Murooj Rotana Hotel & Suites, located in Dubais business district. The public can also preview the auction items at the upcoming Basel Fair, says Sofiov, but invitations to the auction will be exclusively given only to DMCC members and ICA Congress attendees.
