This Dubai-based dedicated facility is designed to meet the needs of ICA members and trade representatives, including those based in the Middle East and Overseas. Specifically established to service the region, ICA GemBureau Middle East will be the representative office for ICA in the Middle East. It will serve as the central point of access for all matters related to the organization, and will provide a broad range of resources for ICA members, including promoting media and trade within the territory through the use of media releases and ICA marketing literature. The ICA GemBureau Middle East will temporarily operate from DMCC’s Coloured Stones & Pearls Division offices at the Dubai Convention Tower, Office 702. Upon the completion of the Almas Tower, DMCC’s landmark tower custom built for the precious commodities sector - the GemBureau will relocate to the 62nd floor there. The International Colored Gemstone Association, headquartered in New York City and operating additional "GemBureaus" in Idar-Oberstein and Dubai, is the nonprofit trade association that represents the international colored gemstone industry, an extremely important and influential segment of the jewelry business. ICA has over 500 members in 46 countries worldwide.
