Belmont Emeralds and Bonas Group Announce their Third Rough Emerald Tender
Belmont Emeralds is delighted to announce its third tender of rough emeralds. The event will be hosted by Bonas Group in Dubai.
Following two very successful sales in 2021, Belmont, the largest independent miner of emeralds in Brazil, is bringing around 220kg of premium and commercial emeralds to market. These premium-quality rough emeralds are directly from the company’s mine located in the world-famous Itabira region in Brazil’s Minas Geraisstate.
Belmont Emeralds has a verified long track record of utilising industry-leading processes that allows them to protect the environment in which they work. The Group is actively preserving more than 400ha of native rain forest and is undertaking continuous reforestation programmes of impacted areas around the mine.
100% of the water used in the mining operation is treated. The company also closely monitors the wildlife in its environs, and protects its natural habitats. Furthermore, it prides itself on ethically produced, conflict-free gemstones that can be certified as directly from the mine.

Viewings of these highly sought-after Brazilian emeralds will be held at Dubai’s Multi Commodity Centre’s (DMCC) tender facility in the Almas Tower from Friday 25th March to Tuesday 29th March 2022. Attendance to the tender is by invitation only.
