I hope that while you are reading this you are enjoying, or have enjoyed, a very prosperous and fulfilling holiday season.  Now is the time for review, for us to assess how our businesses fared during our most important selling season and begin to make projections for the upcoming year.

ICA, and all its members, will be there to help you with your colored gemstone needs.  Beginning with the Facets 2025 show, January 4th through 6th, on the legendary island of Sri Lanka, the annual trek of thousands to Tucson for the Tucson Gem, Mineral and Fossils events, and the Hong Kong International Diamond Gem and Pearl Show in Hong Kong March 2nd through the 6th.  Together, these shows, which prominently feature ICA members, attract legions of buyers seeking the best and the brightest our dealers have to offer.  At both shows you will find scores of ICA dealers, notably at the ICA Pavilion in the GJX tent.

May I also remind you that the GJX and the AGTA have new dates and day patterns for this coming show.  Monday through Saturday, February 3rd through the 8th for the Gem & Jewelry Exchange (GJX), and Monday through Sunday, February 3rd through the 9th for the AGTA GemFair.

These events allow you to experience a vast array of gemstones, gathered from around the globe, and provide you with a selection of treasures that would require months of travel to obtain in the gemstone producing countries.  And best of all, you have the benefit of working with gemstone traders who, as ICA members, many of whom carry the ICA Accredited Ethical Member designation (https://www.gemstone.org/ethical-accreditation-aem)   adhere to a strict code of ethics and business practices.  You can buy the best, from the best, with the comfort and confidence that you deserve.

And while you are in Tucson, please visit the “Display of Generosity” pin collection, a fund-raising event for the ICA initiative Gems Keep Giving® (gemskeepgiving.org), a not-for-profit foundation that is truly making a positive impact in gemstone mining and cutting communities worldwide.

May I close by, once again, offering each of you the best of all things for 2025, and I look forward to seeing you should our paths cross.
